How Asenea works

Your workplace tools, connected to one app.

Asenea connects workplace software with the people who use it. Software providers integrate Asenea with the platforms they already offer their clients, creating mobile services that client organisations can make available to their users.

Once an account has been created for them, users simply download Asenea, log in and access the relevant tools from their phone. The services they see depend on the provider and organisation they are connected to.

Users cannot register directly through the app. Their account must first be created through the connected provider’s platform.

Connected provider Creates the mobile service

Asenea is integrated with the provider’s existing software platform.

Client organisation Provides access to its users

The organisation selects the relevant service and creates each user’s account.

App user Downloads Asenea and gets to work

The user logs in and sees only the tools made available to them.

Completed information returns to the connected platform

The complete journey

From connected software to a completed task.

Asenea does not replace the systems organisations already rely on. It extends those systems to the people using them, creating a clear mobile route from the provider’s platform to the user and back again.

A provider connects its software

A software provider integrates Asenea with the platform it already offers to client organisations. It can then create mobile services that work alongside the provider’s existing tools and records.

The organisation provides access

The client organisation chooses the relevant services and creates accounts for the people who need them. This could include drivers, employees, contractors or other authorised users.

The user downloads Asenea

The user downloads the app, sets their password using the email sent to them and logs in. They only see the tools made available by their organisation, keeping the experience focused and easy to navigate.

Completed information returns

Once a task is submitted, the relevant information is sent back to the provider’s connected platform. The client organisation can then review the record in the system it already uses.

Asenea in action

See how connected providers use Asenea.

Asenea can support very different industries because each service is created around the provider’s own platform and the needs of its clients. These examples show how specialist software can extend beyond the desktop and reach the person completing the task.

TachoMagic

Connecting transport operators with their drivers.

TachoMagic specialises in remote tachograph downloads, tachograph analysis and connected fleet management tools.

How it uses Asenea

Vehicle walkaround checks, completed at the vehicle and connected to TachoMagic.

Transport operators can make digital vehicle checks available to drivers through Asenea. The driver follows the checklist on their phone, records defects and can provide supporting evidence, with the completed check returned to the operator’s TachoMagic system.

The provider TachoMagic makes the vehicle-check service available.
In Asenea The driver completes the check and records any defects.
Back in the platform The operator can review the completed record in TachoMagic.

Employment Tools

Giving employers one place to support their people.

Employment Tools provides online DBS checks and a wider range of employment screening and workplace services.

How it uses Asenea

Everyday workplace services made directly available to employees.

Client organisations can provide authorised users with mobile access to services such as holiday requests and shift check-ins. Each person sees only the tools made available to them, while the organisation manages the resulting information through its connected Employment Tools account.

The provider Employment Tools supplies the connected workplace service.
In Asenea The employee opens the relevant tool and completes the task.
Back in the platform The organisation receives the information in Employment Tools.

Available services vary according to the connected provider and the organisation’s account. Users cannot add services or create an Asenea account independently.

Who Asenea connects

One connection. Three important roles.

Asenea works because every part of the journey has a clear purpose. Connected software providers create the service, client organisations decide how it is used, and their users complete the task through the app. The result is a joined-up experience without changing the provider platform the organisation already relies on.

Connected software providers

Extend an established platform into the hands of its users.

Asenea provides the mobile experience while the provider remains at the centre of the service.

A connected provider integrates Asenea with the software it already supplies to client organisations. It can then introduce mobile services that complement its main platform, allowing tasks to be completed wherever the user is working.

The service may be a vehicle check, holiday request, shift check-in, cleaning checklist or another structured workplace process. The provider determines how that service works and how completed information is handled within its connected system.

The provider expands what its platform can offer without asking users to install a separate app for every new service.
Client organisations

Make the right services available to the right people.

The organisation manages access through the provider system it already uses.

A client organisation uses the connected provider’s platform and chooses which of its available services should be used by employees, drivers or other authorised people. The organisation creates or enables the user’s access, so there is no separate public sign-up process inside Asenea.

Once access is provided, the organisation can direct the user to download the app and log in. Only the relevant services are shown, helping each person reach the workplace tools intended for their role without unnecessary options getting in the way.

The organisation stays in control of who receives access and which connected services are available to them.
App users

Complete everyday workplace tasks from one familiar app.

The user sees a focused experience shaped by their organisation and connected provider.

The user downloads Asenea and signs in using the access arranged through their organisation. Their home screen displays only the services that have been made available to them, even when those services support very different kinds of work.

They can follow the on-screen process, enter the required information and, where the service allows it, add details such as photographs, video or location data. Once submitted, the record is sent securely to the relevant connected platform for the organisation to manage.

One login gives the user a clear route to the services their organisation has chosen for them.
A clear chain of access from start to finish.

Asenea does not replace the connected provider’s main platform. It extends that platform to mobile users, giving organisations a practical way to make services available and receive completed information back in the system they already know.

After completion

A completed task becomes a useful record.

Asenea does more than show a form on a phone. It can guide the user through a workplace task, collect the information and supporting evidence required by that service, and return the completed record to the relevant connected platform.

The service decides what is needed

Different tasks require different information. A holiday request may need dates and a short note, while a vehicle walkaround check may require a series of answers and photographic evidence. Asenea presents the process created by the connected provider, so the experience fits the service being completed.

The completed information is returned

Once submitted, the information is sent back to the provider platform connected to that service. The record does not become part of an unrelated Asenea dashboard. It returns to the system the client organisation already uses to manage that area of its work.

The organisation can take the next step

What happens next depends on the connected service. The organisation might review a reported vehicle defect, respond to a holiday request, check that a task was completed or retain the information as part of its records. Asenea helps move the information from the person doing the work to the platform used to manage it.

One app. Different types of record.

The exact questions, evidence and follow-up process vary between services and connected providers. This flexibility is what allows Asenea to support very different workplace activities without making users download a separate app for every task.

Download Asenea

Your workplace tools. Ready when you are.

If your organisation has given you access to Asenea, download the app to use the workplace services connected to your account. From one familiar place, you can complete the tasks made available to you and send the information back to the relevant provider platform.

The services you see after logging in depend on the organisation and connected provider associated with your account.

Before you download

Your account must be created for you

Asenea is not a self-registration app. The organisation asking you to use it must create your account through its connected system first.

  1. 01
    Your organisation creates your account

You will be added through the software platform used by the organisation that has asked you to download Asenea.

  2. 02
You receive an email from Asenea

Follow the instructions in the email to create your password and prepare your account for its first login.

  3. 03
Download, log in and get started

Use your email address and new password to access the services your organisation has provided for you.

Not received your email?

Please contact the organisation that asked you to use Asenea. They can check whether your account has been created and whether the correct email address was used. You cannot create an account directly through the app.

Frequently asked questions

A few things you may want to know.

Asenea connects you to services provided through your organisation. What you can access, what information is requested and where your completed records go all depend on the connected service you are using.

What is Asenea?

Asenea is one app for accessing mobile services made available through connected software providers and their client organisations. Depending on the organisation you are connected to, these services could include vehicle walkaround checks, holiday requests, shift check-ins, cleaning checklists or other workplace tasks.

Can I create an account directly through Asenea?

No. Your account must be created for you through the organisation or connected service that has asked you to use Asenea. Once this has been done, you will receive an email explaining how to set your password before logging in.

Why can I only see certain services?

Your Asenea dashboard is personalised around the services made available to you. This means two users may see different tools, even when they are using the same app. If you believe a service is missing, contact the organisation that provided your access.

What happens when I complete a task?

The completed information is returned to the relevant connected provider’s platform, where the client organisation can access the record and take any necessary follow-up action. You do not need to move the information between separate systems yourself.

What information can Asenea record?

This depends on the service being used. A task may include answers, checklists, comments, dates and times, photographs, videos, uploaded files or location information. You will be shown what is required as you complete the task.

Do I need a separate app for every provider?

No. Asenea is designed to bring compatible services from connected providers into one consistent app. If more services are made available to your account, they can appear within the same Asenea experience.

Where can I download Asenea?

Asenea is available for compatible Apple and Android devices. You can use the buttons in the download section below to open the correct app store. Remember that downloading the app does not create an account for you.

Who should I contact if I need help?

Please contact the organisation that asked you to use Asenea or the connected provider whose service you are accessing. They can help with account access, missing services and questions about the task you have been asked to complete.

Ready to get started?

If your account has already been created, download Asenea and use the login details provided by your organisation. If you have not received your setup email, contact that organisation before trying to log in.
